Slimming World - if I have the PDFs is there any point in joining again?

Hi,

I would like to go back to a Slimming World way of life to lose a few pounds before the summer. However, I'm a bit strapped for cash right now. I was an Online member before and still have the downloads - the A/B food list, the list of Syns for treat foods, the Free and Superfree lists and so on.

So, are there any new radical changes that are worth signing up for, or do you think I could just go it alone? I thought the online tracker and website were absolutely woeful last time I did it (a couple of years ago), have these been updated at all?

Thanks Smile

I am following the Slimming World plan(ish) or at least my version of it and managing to lose weight okay 2 1/2 stone in 3 months. I don't have the money to join online and some of the comments I have read about attending the meetings make them sound like my idea of hell. Lots of support on here and on other social media sites, my advice would be you know what you want to achieve you have the tools you need and access to lots of support - go for it.

If your list is of superfree and not speed then yep, it's out of date and the syns may not be right either.

Ooh what's speed? Is this a new thing?!

I've been googling and it also appears that they have overhauled their online meal tracker/planner and they will be introducing a planner on the app too soon! This is intriguing me!
