Checking in on new thread (thanks!) BrewSmile

Not a bad week but going to try and have a cycle tomorrow ahead of weigh day Tuesday Confused.

Period has finally arrived so don't know how that impact things. It's really late again so going to see the nurse Tuesday as well and see if I can get to the bottom of that.

Welcome newbies!

And good luck Soun - plenty of speed food to fill you up!

Katenka (from previous thread) - good luck with holiday target!

Thought I'd post a pic of dinner. Jacket potato sprayed with buttery frylight, and topped with leftover stew from last night (tinned toms, chicken, peppers, carrots, sweetcorn, kidney beans, Mexican spices), plus about 2 syns of cheese and some salad. Packing the speed in before weigh in on Tues morning! Currently at 5 syns today, but will be more...a couple of Mikados for another syn or two I reckon!

Oh can I join? I've lost 11lb since Jan and starting to struggle I've bought the free food feast book for some inspiration for meals and had the balsamic butterfly chicken for dinner tonight which was lovely. I think I'm just starting to get stuck in a food rut and the junk food was calling!

Marking place on new thread.

First weigh in tomorrow night. Im not sure what to expect in terms of weight loss. I have no idea how Ive done. Not brilliantly, but certainly better than before I joined SW.

Also got out for a 4 mile run this morning. Was a lovely sunny morning with bright blue skies, I just couldnt resist.

Thanks for the new thread Calzone

Am stuffed to bursting tonight with roast beef, roast potatoes, yorkies, carrots, broccoli and green beans with proper gravy. Three hours after finishing dinner I've still got my jeans unbuttoned Grin

Am meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow. Not sure where we're going yet but I very much doubt it'll be on plan. Oh well, it's one meal...

Hi guys, checking in! Last night we booked a holiday to Dominican Republic in Nov, which is 34 weeks away (better not get pregnant!). Can I lost 34 lbs in 34 weeks??? We'll see! That would take me to 12st 2 which I have never ever been. Weighed myself when I was 13 and I was 13 stone.

Does that sound like I'm setting myself up for disappointment, or can I do it?? Eek! I have a body that looks way lighter than it is, I'm currently 14st 6 but don't look it. So I don't know if it's actually possible for me to be that light! But I equally don't want to make excuses for myself and I want to achieve something. Also the holiday is exactly a year since I started SW. Only lost 9lbs so far. But I think holiday will be good motivation.

Am sure it is doable Bendy but you will have to stick to plan, drink more water and maybe up the exercise!!!!!

bendy are you a natural slow loser, or are you relaxed about the plan a bit more (not judging Wink).

A 1lb a week is doable for most, but I do know some people who find it more difficult.

Especially if you have events between now and then.

I am a naturally slow loser who is relaxed about the plan, ha! (Read: undisciplined)

So I think if I tighten up and be more strict with the plan that should make a difference. But my body does find it hard to let go of the weight, for sure.

Will make sure I come on this thread lots to keep motivated. I lose motivation so easily. But I have told myself I will achieve lots in 2016 so this is one major goal.

Report
Katenka · 21/03/2016 07:49

bendy I would make small changes then. More water, more speed food, stick within Syns where possible.

Just tighten it up a bit.

I once was told don't be put off doing something because it seems the goal is far away, the time will pass anyway.

I think about that. I know I where I want to be by my birthday next month. I know if I don't put the effort in, it will get to my birthday and I won't be there and annoyed at myself.

It may not help, but it does for me.

Oh no that totally helps, I heard that recently too (on the Kardashians I think Blush) - whether you do something or not, time still passes. You'll still get older and you can stay the same, or not.
