I love rocky road. Quite partial to a double choc crisp too grin

HairySubject Sat 23-Jan-16 21:02:22

Oh I don't go any more but I do miss hifi bars. I loved the salted caramel, rocky Road, peanut and chocolate orange ones. Yum!

deli1976 Sat 23-Jan-16 21:05:05

Chocolate orange. They are my daily chocolate fix and HEB.

TwoTonTessie Sat 23-Jan-16 21:11:11

Double choc and rocky road are my faves. The lemon meringue and toffee apple are much too sweet for me.

KittyOShea Sat 23-Jan-16 21:14:14

Same tessie although I miss the rhubarb and custard and it was mega sweet. Hoping jam roly poly is good.

Panadbois Sat 23-Jan-16 21:33:26

Salted caramel is lush. Better even than a mars bar grin

HairySubject Sat 23-Jan-16 21:46:48

I am seriously considering going back to group now.

Underdogsbollocks Sat 23-Jan-16 21:48:49

I don't go anymore as I'm managing fine by myself but u reaaaalllly miss the rocky road bars envyI think they should start selling them in a supermarket, or Iceland with the ready meals.

calzone Sat 23-Jan-16 22:27:31

Chocolate orange are awesome but the Salted caramel ones are like a Reece's bar or similar. Soooo good.

Not keen on the toffee apple ones or the new jam rolypoly ones.....

deli1976 Sat 23-Jan-16 22:53:01

I know the toffee apple are sickly, i love them i can imagine the jam roly ones are gonna be lil bit sickly aswell...have you had them already calzone?, i thought it was after 25th they were out in group

Jam Roly Poly is very nice, could be a bit more jammy though - very custardy. Trialled it at group yday. Will be nice smooshed up into desserts smile

FlopIsMyParentingGuru Sun 24-Jan-16 22:15:56

Oh I loved the rhubarb and custard. If it's custardy does that mean the jam roly poly is similar in flavour?

tabulahrasa Sun 24-Jan-16 23:49:09

I didn't like rhubarb - it had a weird aftertaste...the new one is nice though, it tastes a bit like those yoghurt coated strawberry flakes you get, but custardy.

FlopIsMyParentingGuru Mon 25-Jan-16 09:10:28

Mmm. Tempting!
I try to limit my hifi bar consumption as they are so sweet that I just end up gobbling them up, but i think I'll give them a go as a treat.
Maybe putting them in the fridge might slow me down!

BendydickCuminsnatch Mon 25-Jan-16 09:13:43

This may be the thing that makes me switch from an online member to a group member shock

FlopIsMyParentingGuru Mon 25-Jan-16 22:23:30

I'm SO disappointed with the new hifi bar. Horrible aftertaste.
And it was the only flavour I bought this week.

GeneralGrevious Mon 25-Jan-16 22:31:36

Just bought some toffee apple much too sweet urgh

deli1976 Tue 26-Jan-16 14:03:58

I love the sweetness in toffee apple so im kinda hoping the roly poly will be a little sickly..these keep me going by replacing the urge to eat sweets that could be high in syns

I like the sweetness of the toffee apple but the jam ones have a weird weird aftertaste to me

Pisghetti Tue 26-Jan-16 23:11:59

I like the toffee apple but stopped buying them as I always seemed to have unpopped corn in mine and my teeth were in danger. I usually buy the lemon meringue and chocolate orange. The lemon meringue could do with being a bit tangier. There is a lemon curd recipe doing the rounds in my group this week so might give that a go....

deli1976 Wed 27-Jan-16 00:37:08

Oh i did that lemon curd for a taster couple yrs ago, group loved it and it was free
