Fallen off the wagon tonight!

Just gone into my third week at SW (weigh in last night) and I've lost 5.5lb so far so all going well, until tonight. Kids had Dominos (they don't normally eat crap on a Tuesday night but there is a boring story to go with it) and I just couldn't help myself so I ate 3 massive slices of their pizza which gave me an instant stomach ache but obviously that didn't put me off because I have just sat and eaten half a tub of Ben and Jerry's confused

Now really pissed off with myself and beating myself up because I've been doing so well but I have raging PMT and everyone is annoying me so as usual I've used food to deal with it. Plus it's bloody freezing outside and I just want to hide with a bag of Maltesers and a glass of wine!!!

I can turn this around tomorrow can't I? Someone give me a kick and help me stay on track, if I can get back to it tomorrow I know I will be fine. Can I still pull off a loss next Monday?

Yes! Tonight is one night, you've done really well so far so just chase that wagon down (burns calories) and jump back on it first thing tomorrow.

I think the key to success long term, is not sticking with it 100% all of the time, but not letting these slip ups get in the way of the overall goal.

So what if you had some pizza and ice cream? Averaged out over the whole week I bet you have still done great.

If you don't lose this week at least you will know why (but I reckon you will still lose).

It is one day. Forget it and move on as you can't undo it now! Try your best for the rest of the week, but accept that you may not lose as much or anything this week. At least you know why if you don't lose! At the end of the day, you're still 5.5 lbs down. Also bear in mind that you may not lose anyway because of your period. I tend to gain or maintain when I'm on, but I know that and tend to have a bigger loss the week after.

Thanks everyone sorry I didn't get back on last night.

Doing ok today but the week before my period is always a killer and I just want to eat junk, need to get my period out of the way and I will be ok. Going to force myself to an exercise class tonight even though it's bloody freezing outside! The cold definitely doesn't help when trying to diet. I need to lose around 3.5 stone so I'm in it for the long haul but have a huge family wedding in June so that's my goal!!

Thanks again, it always helps to have someone to tell me to get back on it x
