SW suitable for vegetarians?

Is SW for vegetarians? I have a lot of weight to lose. Don't eat meat or fish, but enjoy cheese,eggs and quorn, pasta rice and all fruit and veg. Can't stand feeling hungrey though! Would SW be suitable for me?

I'm a vegetarian and joined SW in January. I've lost 4 stone and 2 lbs so far (just 6 more pounds to go) and it works brilliantly for me. I eat lots of Quorn, rice, pasta in my main meals. Happy to share some food diaries if you like?

Oh and I'm rarely hungry, I wouldn't have stuck with it for 6 months if I was!

Thank you, it's changed my life! I've gone from a size 20 feeling quite tight at Christmas to buying a dress in a size 12 yesterday grin

So today I'm having:

Breakfast: fruit salad (banana, nectarine, plum and some grapes) this is quite common as mornings are busy with getting little ones ready and out the door

Mid morning: muller light (I know they're not veggie but I'm not so strict that I discount stuff like this, I just don't eat meat or fish)

Lunch: cooked breakfast (2 Quorn sausages (0.5 syn each), grilled mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, scrambled eggs with 30g cheddar (HExA))

Mid afternoon: 2 x HiFi bars (bought at group and 2 count as your HExB) and an apple

Dinner: Quorn peppered steak, SW chips, sweetcorn and peas followed by a bowl of summer fruits topped with a muller light and a crumbled meringue next (2.5 syns)

That leaves me with enough syns for a Curly Wurly (6 syns) at some point in the day, and maybe a mini Crunchie (4 syns) as well if I'm really craving chocolate!

Other dinners that I like include:
- mushroom fried rice
- cheese, mushroom and tomato omelette
- gnocchi
- homemade Quorn cottage pie
- Quorn meatballs and spaghetti

TalcumMucker that is amazing, well done. I'm pregnant at the moment, but I need to do something as soon as this baby is out. I've put on over 3 stone on the last 3 years.

I am vegatarian and find it ok.the Linda McCartney Rosemary and red onion sausages are lovely and syn free. I struggle a bit with sauce for pasta as I don't like tomato or mushrooms. But I don't mind my food being repetitive.

I love your menu! would suit me very well, thanks so much. Ive always been size 12ish but hit 50 had hysterectomy and now size 22 but only 5"2. Going to sign up to a group this week as youve inspired me! Due to health issues (destroyed pelvic floor etc) Im unable to do most excersises, can swim and gently ride bike, no walking due to feet issues too do you think Id still be able to lose a few stone?

I've managed to lose the weight without exercising at all (unless you count rocking DS back to sleep 6 times a night?!)

You just need to get to know the plan, keep a food diary for the first 3-4 weeks until you're confident with how it works. I couldn't have done it without my group, I stay every week. It helps me to know I'll be weighed there, then hear how others have got on, what's worked for them or where they might have wobbled and why.
