I do the 30 Day Abs & Squat Challenge in the morning. In the evening I do about 20-25 mins of the Davina 7 min DVD.

At last weigh-in my weight had gone up by 2lbs and I'm not weighing myself again until the end of the month. However I was looking at my stomach this morning and liking the definition of abs that are appearing! My stomach is def flatter than it was. However I know that when I weigh myself and if my weight has gone up or stayed the same I will be really demotivated. I know it's only a number on a machine and if I feel and look better that's all that should matter - but it's a psychological thing!

I did measure my stomach after my last weigh-in and will measure it again at the end of the month. Am hoping that if that's gone down I'll be happy.

I was wondering how much it affects you what the scales say or whether you go by how you feel? This is why I don't way myself every week cos otherwise by emotions would be all over the place!

I have just finished day 25 of the Abs challenge and it has definitely made my stomach look more defined. I'm thinking of trying one of the others when I finish it.
I think exercise can increase your weight from what other people have experienced. At meetings they have often had a gain even though they have stuck to plan, but have started exercising.

What I've read, but I don't know how true it is...is that you don't lose or even put in when you first exercise, something to do with muscles being swollen.
