week two- 15st 3.5lbs
weekthree- 15st 3lbs

my aim for fourth weigh in is to get into the 14s :)

I had my first weigh in last Weds. I've got 8 stone to lose Blush so I'm hoping for a good loss when I go again tomorrow.

this week has been fairly straight forward, but I'm worried that I'm not eating enough free foods.

When is you next weigh day?

Report
RavioliOnToast · 19/05/2015 14:59

next weight day is Monday, I'm also doing the scan bran challenge this week and drinking 2 litres of infused water every day :)

I have a cheat night Monday, but I ate really, really terribly last week so hope it doesn't catch up this week Blush

I have put 13st 7oz as my target, and I'll see how I feel when I reach that, if of like to decrease it again. ideally Id love to be 12 stone.

have you done any before shots? I'm going to do some tonight Shock I'm scared haha

What is the scan bran challenge?

I should really do some before photos. I need to take my measurements too so I can really see any changes.

I haven't set a final goal yet. I have about 1.5 stone until I get my club 10. That's my first goal, then I'll set some interim targets I think

Report
RavioliOnToast · 19/05/2015 15:32

my club 10 is 13 13 so a stone and a bit. And you have to eat 5 scan bran a day, it's full of fibre, keeps you feeling really full. I made cake with mine today, it's edible, not amazing.

I never thought about doing inches. I'll do them tonight too, where do you measure?

have you got an actual weight goal? or a picture in your head?

12 stone would just about put me in the healthy weight range. I've got a skirt that is a small size 14 which I used to wear and loved. I'd be delighted if I could get to wear it again.

I'd also love to be able to enjoy this summer without being all hot and bothered. If I can keep up a good level of weight loss each week I think this should be achievable.

I'm going to measure over bust, under bust, waist, hips, top of arms and thighs.

a target outfit is a really good idea! I just had a rake around and I have a blue silk dress from warehouse in a small 14 I'd love to get back into , I find I'm a bit nervous to exercise as I heard it cam make you gain 'weight' but obviously it isn't, it's just numbers? I was going to start 39 day shred again and I've just bought a double buggy so I've got no excuse now.

My main aim is to know that I can pull any random outfit on and it fits jn all the right places. I'll be ecstatic if I get into a 12 but tone up aswell :) my mum tum is vile it sticks to everything. since having DD2 I'm all squashy down the sides aswell, like I've got about 4 tyres and then my knickers dig in aswell Sad have you planned meals for the week?

KingOfTheStupids · 19/05/2015 19:49

I've got twin mum tum! I doubt if that'll ever be bikini fit, but hopefully I can feel nice in everything else one day Grin

Meals planned include gnocchi in cheese sauce tonight, then lasagne, jacket potatoes, roast chicken & veg, omelette, marinated chicken and then probably take away fish & chips for Eurovision. What do you have planned?

I tend to just snack during the day on free stuff as I'm run off my feet with the children, and then sit down for a meal with DH in the evening.

RavioliOnToast · 19/05/2015 20:03

ah how old are the twins? the gnocchi sounds lovely, that's one of my favourite things ever! How do you make your cheese sauce? how many syns is it?

tonight I've had fully loaded sweet potato skins, made with natural yoghurt, spring onion, red onion and red pepper and then my Hex A cheese, with salad and asdas syn free tikka chicken :) chicken tikka matalan tomorrow with scan bran bhajis, lasagne one night, chilli - may form tacos but I'll use a big lettuce leaf for my taco, chilli wedges with rest of chilli, and stir fry with an attempt of syn free spring rolls Grin

The twins are 6mths and I have a 2.5yr DS.

Gnocchi was lush. It was 100ml of homemade white sauce at 5.5 syns with my HExA of low fat cheddar, then 125g Gnocchi at 2 syns, so 7.5 in total Smile I stuck some spinach in the sauce to bulk it out a bit and then lettuce & pepper on the side.

I sadly took a photo.

I was going to ask what Chicken Tikka Matalan was then realised it was probably an auto correction Grin

There's a really nice SW gnocchi dish I found online with tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil. Made this last week, really delicious!

Ooh king that's looks gorgeous! I took a photo too haha. Did you do your before and after shits? Mine were eye-wateringly horrific. It opened my eyes a bit to be honest. Made em look gruesome so I'll look even better in the after ones haha.

Thank you wildheart I'll add it to my list of things to make :) I love the way she has set that website out, I printed a lot of stuff from it last week :)

Has anybody tried those haribo sweets (sw ones though)

LOL Ravioli, that's an epic typo Grin

I did my photos this morning. They are pretty grim. However, at my weigh in this morning I'm down 9lbs!!!

Those potato skins look scrummy. I'll have to add sweet potatoes to the shop this week.

9lbs is amazing! Well done King

my phone is obsessed with that word, I texted Dh yesterday asking what his shit was for today... I meant shift haha.

A little bit of chocolate is good :) The Aldi Mini Delights at 4 syns keep me happy. So maybe see which chocolates have the least syns?

Hi Ravioli, I was just 1lb heavier than you when I started SW on 13th January! As of weigh in this week I am 12 stone 4lbs and have set myself a target of being 11 stone so still have a way to go. You've got off to a great start!

Am always looking for new meals and love your sweet potato skins, am going to try them later this week I think. I'm a vegetarian so some of my meals in the last week have included mushroom fried rice, Quorn mince cottage pie and stuffed peppers. Happy to share recipes if you like?

As for getting your chocolate fix, I struggled with this too. Do you go to a group? Each week I buy 2 boxes of the HiFi light bars (usually one Rocky Road and one Double Chocolate) and I use those as my HEB and have them after my lunch. Means I can have some chocolate and not use any syns. I rarely use syns in my meals actually, I usually save them for chocolate in the evening and have a mini Crunchie or mini Twirl (4syns each) or a Curly Wurly (6 syns) or all 3!

King 9lb loss in one week, wow that's fantastic!

RavioliOnToast · 20/05/2015 13:35

I'd love to swap recipes Talcum

I'm not vegetarian, however I rarely eat meat, I have quorn sausages, mince, chicken pieces and meatballs Grin

I'm a curlywurly fiend! I love love them!!!!

yes I do go to group, I've had the rocky Road bars they're gorgeous, I tend to buy the Choc and fudge alpen light, they're £3 for 3 boxes in asda :)

Thanks all. It's lovely to have a sticker on the book Smile

Dinner isn't much to shout about tonight, Quorn burgers, oven chips & beans. I did have a scrummy corned beef sandwich for lunch though.

I'm not really craving anything yet. I'm more of a comfort eater so stressful days at work would always end with a take away.

I might save some syns for a curlywurly though, I haven't had one of those in years!

Well done for getting back on plan, I'm terrified if I slip up I'll be off the wagon completely!

mmmGrin cooked brekkie!!

I had a tube of mini eggs, a full tub of popcorn and a whole bag of winegums ...

Then - soup with 2 slices of 'artisian bread' and a mini bread roll, and a pizza...Blush it was shameful but very tasty!

I'm not looking forward to weigh in Monday as I'm out tonight aswell.

last night for tea I made the chicken tikka masala and I massively recommend it! I also made scan bran bhajis aswell but they were too spicy for me haha. hubby enjoyed them though :) I always forget about jackets for tea. quick and easy and could stop me falling off plan if I'm starving.

have youbtried any of the sw ready meals? they're meant to be lovely! Grin

Where are you getting your mini eggs from at this time of year?

I'll have to check out the SW ready meals. It's always useful having a couple of those in the freezer when inspiration is lacking.

I've had chip shop fish & chips tonight. The 220g of chips that make up 14syns is actually a really good amount and the cod without the batter was lovely.

What other meals have you added your scan bran too?

Report
RavioliOnToast · 24/05/2015 10:51

the cinema had the tubes next to the till, enticing buggers...
I don't really eat fish so would have to just settle for the chips.

so far i be only made scan bran cake (vile)

ooh I'd really recommend making the sw spring rolls though, they were absolutely divine!
