Hi I know that when you blend fruit (to make a Smoothie), it is no longer free. I love making a banana and strawberry Smoothie but not sure how to syn fruit, I can't find the syn values anywhere. Can anyone help?

The sw app says that 100mls of average red or yellow fruit smoothie is 2.5 syns.

But of a rough guide though as I guess.

Bananas are 4 syns per 100g pureed and strawberries are 1.5 per 100g.

Ok...i didn't realise this. So for example strawberries are free, but when i put them in my smoothie maker thing (which just blends them, nothing else) they're not free? I just assumed they meant shop bought smoothies weren't free...

really - if you squish them with a fork are they free or not?

The thing is with fruit, you could put lb of strawberries and 4 bananas in a blender, drink it and think nothing of it. It still has over about 400 calories and takes very little time for the boidy to absorb it. Try to eat the whole fruit you'd be stuffed. Youd not eat your dinner. There's not many times you'd say you binged on bananas. Squish them but don't blend. My frozen raspberries are squishy.they're free.
