SW Valentines Day dinner

Hi not wanting to sabotage my weight loss am planning on cooking a special meal for hubby and I on VDay.

Does anyone have any nice recipes? Would like a main and a pud? Would like something r special & not too high in syns as would like to partake in wine-age!!!

Steak and veg with fancy roast potatoes done with FryLight is always good. Looks really good and men love a good steak! For pudding there is a fantastic recipe for an 'Apple Betty' on the Slimming World website! It's lovely and REALLY simple and makes a kind of sweet apple and sultana tart. Can be served with cream if you want to be a bit naughty but remember to measure it and count the syns!

Thanks so much will def think about steak & look at the apple recipe too! It's so hard sometimes to think of puss which actually taste nice too without being predominantly fruit! (That's obv my problem!!!!!) thanks xx

I havent made them myself but im planning to this weekend. Just note that peoples comments have said that too much sweetener was used x

The brownies are hideous, I wouldn't bother. Unless you use so little sweetener that the cocoa is bitter, they taste very strongly of sweetener. Pity...

I would go with steak with salad and SW wedges and then how about strawberries and maybe marshmallows with melted chocolate to dip in? Or you could use the 'chocolate shot' as a dipping sauce, it's quite low in syns.

I tried them with a lot less sweetener they were disgusting! !! All I could taste was egg. Ill stick to a little bit of something naughty
