DS2 is 20 months, and his older brother nearly 4.

DS2 has never liked sleeping, he was breast fed till 1 and has never settled very well.

Currently he has a bottle (yes too old for a bottle but need sleep before get rid of it), and a story read to him whilst he has bottle in the cot. We then sit next to cot whilst he falls to sleep... sometimes instant, sometimes takes hours.

When asleep, he is usually wakes up at around 3/4 am and can be awake for 15 mins or an hour; we rarely give him a bottle in the middle of the night.

DS1 has always slept perfectly so it has been really hard;

DS2 has a cot, with a pillow & duvet; we tried a duvet in stead of a gro bag, so he could feel more grown up and now he refuses a gro bag!

Any advice?

If we leave him to cry too long, he gets so worked up, he is physcially sick & is so noisey he disturbs DS1.

Please, any advice.. does anyone find that little ones may sleep better if they are in a bed like their big brothers?
