I've posted this before several months ago. We are back in the torturous phase of being woken up at 5.30. I CAN'T STAND IT!
My brain doesn't function at that time - I am unable to utter the stern words "you get back to bed this instant"...instead I dribble and slobber and say something pathetic like "it's still nightime, come on get in my bed but be quiet". Bless him he's only 3 and sometimes he does manage to lie relatively still and quiet, but most of the time he is lively and awake and wants to play superheroes.
What do I do? I have bags under my eyes and I feel like I can't function properly! This feels like the tiredness from those first few hideous sleep deprived weeks when he was first born!
Bonkers I know. I don't go to be late (10.30).
