This is a tongue in cheek thread actually.
Constantly tired I have decided to stop BF DC3 when she wakes in the night she is 11 months now.
Friday DH and 2 DSs shipped off to MILs for the night so I could get on with Controlled Crying DC3.
All day I explained to DC3 that I would not be feeding her if she woke in the night, she's a big girl now and is eating lots and doesn't need mommy to put her back to sleep with milk everytime she wakes.
Couldn't bloody believe it, she went down at 8.30pm woke at 6.30am, shock, horror! I fed her, she fell asleep at 7.30am and slept until 10am.
My God I felt like a new woaman.
So if you want your little one to sleep, just politely ask.
PS Following night cried for 20 minutes
Next night slept through
Following night slept through
Next night cried off and on for over 3 hours.
Following night slept through
Last night cried off and on for over 3 hours and had a row with DH at 4am as he wanted me to just feed her and shut her up

Once told dd she could have stickers if she slept through, it worked. Only once though, bribery not a long term solution.
Glad you are getting more sleep.
