Hi there,
My baby boy is 17 weeks now and just about 1 month ago I started to follow a routine... We had a good transition from 3 to a 4hrs cycle and we are now following a 4 hours adjusted EASY. The main reason for me wanting to establish a routine was that even though he was sleeping well at night (7pm-6am) - waking up once as I am not doing the sleepy feed - he was not napping regularly during the day and not for more than 45 mins usually if at all... so he was very sleepy during feedings.
I started using the PUPD method a week ago and I have seen improvements as he's napping twice a day... however, when sometimes my sshhh doesn't seem to "reach" him I have used a hair dryer which does the trick quite well... after he stops crying and is just sobbing I come back to the shhh and patting.
Is my use of the hair dryer a prop? Would I be regretting its use in the future?
