I'll be moving ds2 in with ds1 in about 8 weeks when ds2 turns 6 months. Ds1 is 22 months. They can both be a bit restless and I expect them to wake each other up every now and then, but tbh, I don't see what you can do about it.
Will be watching this with interest, but I plan to just do it and tackle any issues as and when they arise.

DS and DD (2.8 and 8 months) share and never disturb each other. DD was wailing for a good two hours the other night and DS snored next to her.

Sometimes he wakes her if he bumps into her cot when sleepy walking but it's rare. Both sleep much better for being in together.

They do have the same bedtime though. It's really nice putting them to bed now and DS is not scared of being on his own now. I love having them together!

mine have shared since they were around 1 and 3.5 and very, very rarely wake each other, even when ds2 would scream in the night for milk lol, wasn;t enough to wake ds1

My two shared from when DS2 was about 9 months.

I kept waiting for him to sleep through the night but he never did!

DS1 never woke once in the night even when his brother screamed the place down with reflux.

For the bedtime thing, we used to put DS2 down, then read DS1 a story in our bed and let him go to sleep there. Then we transferred him into his own bed when we went up.

Now it's lovely for them going to bed together.

It might be fine, you won't know till you try it.

The dds have shared a room since they were 6 months and 2.5. They never really bothered about the other waking up, they just got on with their own sleep patterns.

(Although it was so long ago now that my memory is hazy)
