Chicco Mamma Lullaby - Anyone found it useful for settling DC when they stir??

Hi,

Sorry, have also posted this on the 'products' page but thought people on here might be able to help. I have bought one of these second hand, I was wondering if any of you have used it to help DC settle back down when they stir?? If you have, did it help at all??

Also, it didn't have a manual so I don't know how to use it. I know I should be able to record my voice and it will auto play when DD starts to cry but not sure how to do that. Anyone got the instructions or can explain what to do??

Thanks

To record your voice press and hold down the red button on top that is labelled 'rec'. To set to come on when baby cries set the adjacent button to the heart shape to play what you've recorded, or the musical note to play music.

We've not really used it for this purpose because when you set it to come on automatically it makes a short burst of music which we were worried might wake our v.light sleeper if turn on after she's asleep. If turned on before she's asleep we keep setting off accidentally during bedtime routine which gets annoying! Hope it helps you though.

shegetsthatfromme - How have you got on with it? I was looking at one of these only the other day wondering whether it would help my ds resettle.

Hiya Aubergenie, it stopped her from crying but didn't help her sleep so after using it for a few days its gone back in the cupboard. If you wanted to try it you could buy mine!

Sorry it didn't help your dd to sleep shegetsthatfromme. Thanks for the offer but I'm looking for something to help my ds sleep and resettle himself too.
