I've posted about this before. Ds is 15 months and usually sleeps through (so am lucky really). But the thing is, every now and then he suddenly starts waking up an hour early and then gets grumpy all day. I used to be able to get him to go back to sleep when this happened but not now.

Once he's on the earlier routine (as now) I can't shift it. last time the clockes went forward a few days later so i just didn't adjust it. Now I don't know. He gets too tired in the evenings to eat (though he did eat reasonably today), but the amount he eats makes no difference.

Plus dd is a bit poorly and woke up 2ce last night too. Can't cope. Anyone got any bright ideas about getting him to put his clock back by an hour? I've thought of picking him up from nursery an hour early (he goes straight down for his nap afterwards), but work pressures mean no can do.

We do have blackout blinds, yes.

The "plan" is for him to wake up at 8am or later (nursery doesn't start till 10 and dd woke at 9 at that age), but normal is 7. This week it's 5.30-6. (NB this is a compromise - many Spanish babies stay up till 11 and sleep in.)

He has less sleep than dd does and she's nearly 3!
