Hi - our baby was going through the night and has been for months. But for the last month she's been waking at almost exactly 4.3am for a feed. After that she goes to 7 or 8am. Meanwhile, the toddler is hearing the commotion and coming into a light sleep, usually waking us up at 5. We need to knock this feed on the head. I don't really want to do controlled crying as she seems so starving for it, I just can't understand why it's cropped up again.
Any help? Pleeaaaaaaaaseeeeeeee?!

How old is she? Could be a growth spurt. I think it would be unfair to do controlled crying if she is hungry. What time is her last feed? could you add in a dream feed when you go to bed?

one other thing that occurs to me....your heating hasn't started clicking on at that time has it? perhaps that disturbs her and she decides she's hungry... (we eventually worked out this was why ds kept waking last year!)

Sorry, forgot to put on age - she's 10 months. Started sleeping through and did so consistently from 4 months. Heating comes on at 6.30...
We're still doing the dream feed, haven't dared drop it. Last night we did as some sort of backward experiement but she still woke at 4.30 - not earlier, not later!
