My DD wakes up normally around 6 olclock but today she woke up at 5am, this is after putting her to bed at the new time of an hour forward.
She is a 10 hour sleeper so I have to put her to bed at 8 oclock.
If I keep putting her to bed at 8pm new time will she eventually start sleeping thru to 6am again. Will her body clock shift?
I've heard you should do it gradually 15 mins later everyday...Anyone been in the same boat and succeeded?

I'm, still struggling a bit... I'm managing to get her to sleep until 7am by adding in an extra feed (hopefully not a permanant fixture!) but I still haven't managed to edge her bedtime back past 5.15pm!

Im having the same problem with my 5 month old. Its been 5.30am starts for 4 days now and its starting to wear a bit thin. Is the general advice to keep to the normal routine of bed at 7pm and eventually her body clock will shift ? we tried bed at 8pm last night and that didnt work

I'm stuggling too. We're all over the place as DD has also been ill. She seems to be hungry according to British Summer mealtimes too!

Guess we just have to stick with it???

Wish I was making progress- DS woke up at 5.30am this morning and there have been varying degrees of earlyness all week. DD (4) has made the transition ok but LO is making us all knackered. He is going to bed at 7pm (usual time and meals are fine) any ideas?

We had a bit more success today. I spent from 5.25pm until bedtime at 7pm last night trying to keep DD awake. She slept until 5.20am, made lots of noise in her cot for half an hour and finally went back to sleep until the usual time. I`m not getting excited yet though until its happenned for a few days. I think the trick is not to let her have too much sleep during the afternoon and when she does wake up, keep things in night-time mode

same problem for me. I am putting her to bed at the winter time but she is waking at the summer time if that makes sense?!

She normally does 630/645pm until 6am ish. She now does 630/645 until 5 or 530am, its too early!! And she is shattered and grumpy as she has lost an hours sleep.
