DD dropped to one nap - am I getting this right?

As title implies, DD has just gone to one nap from two. She started this a few days which coincided with getting shoes and starting to go for walks. She has been refusing to nap at half 10 which was her usual time, instead going down at 12ish for 2 hours or so. She then goes to bed at 7ish. Does this sound ok?

A day now looks like this:
7.30 get up, bf
8 breakfast
11 snack
12 bf and nap til 2
2 lunch
5 tea
7 bed

Is that about right? She isn't sleeping any better with 1 nap, but no worse either so suppose it's ok. She's nearly 14 months btw.

very similar to by niece's pattern and she is 2.5 years.

DS has a similar pattern - starts later - and has a nap either morning or afternoon for no more than an hour.

Your DD is sleeping 12 hours at night plus 2 hours in the day, which is about right dfor her age. The only comment I would have is that the lunch is too late really - her lunch and tea are rolling into each other.

You should maybe try a snack at 10 or 10.30am, and then bring lunch forward to 11.30 or so, then nap after lunch - hopefully the full tum will induce sleep (it does for me at work!), and then a small snack at 2.30 to 3pm upon waking.

It is a funny age this neither a baby nor a toddler!!

Isn't a baby a toddler by the time they are two?

Thanks guys. Yes, I wasn't happy with lunch being so late either, so I'll give it a go a bit earlier and see how she is. She's not much of a breakfast or lunch gal anyway so only really snacks then. I hope it's not permanent as I quite enjoy the relaxation time. She still sleeps on my lap so I was getting two naps to surf tinternet and munch on all the foods I don't want to share!

I thought it was when they started walking technically, hughjarssss, but DD's still just a baby to me!
