Can't bear the thought of starting another GF debate, so please, please don't. All I really need to know is at what age she suggests dropping the late afternoon nap?

thanks Irishbird - was wondering why his nighttime sleep was so disrupted. Haven't bothered with GF second time round as I found it too difficult to fit in with my older child - I just loosely follow her naptimes as they seem to suit young babies well.

I'll try to drop this nap tomorrow and see if his nighttime sleep improves.

How much sleep does she say a 5 month old should have in the day?

good old GF - I have limited the sleep to 3(ish) hours in the daytime and cut out the late afternoon nap - he is sleeping much better, slept from 7pm-5am when I put his dummy back in and he went back off till just after 7.

she may be controversial but she sure works for us
