Please help. My little boy is 7 months. He wakes up literally every hour in night. But after 2 o clock he will not go to sleep without me or partner.
What can I do? I'm exhausted

How does baby go to sleep at the beginning of the night and for naps?

How is daytime sleep?

How does baby go to sleep at the beginning of the night and for naps?

How is daytime sleep?

Goes down so well for naps and first part of night is good. Sometimes wakes up at night before but easily put back down

I meant how do you get him to sleep, because that is often a factor in frequent waking.

So how do you go from baby being fully awake to fully asleep - what is the process?

Another thing that can cause frequent night wakes is being over tired, so not enough daytime sleep. So when I asked about daytime sleep, it meant how often does he sleep, how long are naps, how long between naps, how and where does be get to sleep for naps.

I feel your pain! Sorry no advice just support! My bubba is doing the exact same thing. She's 6months but was 7weeks prem making her corrected age 4months so not sure if we are in the middle of the 4 month regression.
We are guilty of holding a dummy in her mouth until she falls asleep, however she does self soothe in the first half of the night so before her night feed. 2am onwards is horrific, she won't even consider sleep before 3:30am and then out right refuses to sleep in her co-sleeper cot. As I type she is asleep next to me in bed but as she was prem and the health visitor repeatedly told us not to bed share, I am wide awake until I can wake my husband up from the spare room sanctuary at the agreed change over time!
Naps are hot and miss in length but I do normally get a good 1.5 hour morning nap and then maybe 2 more hour naps early and late afternoon.
Can anyone help us and share any wisdom from similar issues pleeeeeeease?

Holding the dummy in for her isnt a problem in itself - why isnt she able to keep it in by sucking though?

Is she in the cot when you do this to get her to sleep (as in she's in the cot and your only interaction is with the dummy) or is she in your arms or smilar?

What happens during the time in the night when she cant get back to sleep. What do you do to get her back to sleep?

She is in her cot when we hold the dummy and sometimes she does spit the dummy out and then falls asleep unaided.

When she wakes in the night at 2am, we feed her and then she falls asleep in either our arms or our bed or if we catch her drowsy, in the cot with the dummy. Anytime in the cot is short lived though
