Hello!
My almost 6mo ds sleeps from 7-5.30 with one wake up and has around 4 hours of naps in the day. I feel very lucky and we have only just achieved this after a horrendous regression but I wonder if anyone could help me crack the 5.30 wake up call?
He doesn't wake up crying for milk so he's not hungry.
Any tips on how I can get even an extra half an hour or hour?
Many thanks in advance ☺️

I’m afraid there is no magic answer here! Babies wake up when they’ve had enough sleep, it’s as simple as that

My LO is in a sidecar cot so when he wakes up stupidly early he can play happily as I’m right there, or more often he crawls into bed with me for a cuddle and snooze until a more reasonable hour. Suits us really well, hope it’s helofuk to you too :)

4 hours of naps seems a lot? Maybe cut that down a bit.

Mine used to sleep till noon.

Of course, she didn’t go to bed till midnight. You don’t get the penny and the bun.

You could try moving bedtime later (15 mins every few days) but some of them are wired to wake early regardless of what time they go to bed.

Thank you! Tbh I feel very lucky to only have one wake up in the night now so I don't think I'll start experimenting. Thanks all for your suggestions ☺️
Without those 4 hours of naps he's very grumpy so it's what he needs I feel
We tried gradual later bedtime but it made no difference and I just lost more evening

I'll just be grateful for what I've got I think !:)

Just try to stretch him maybe 15 min extra between naps or wake him a little earlier.
4 hours of day sleep does seem a lot
