Help! My 12 month old sudden won't sleep!

My 12 month old has always been a relatively good sleeper.

Getting up at 7:30 each morning, short nap at 9:00, followed by a two hour nap at lunch, 12:30-14:30. Then going to bed at about 18:45.

This week he's been a touch under the weather with his teeth, and what the GP thinks is a viral rash.

Since Tuesday he will no longer sleep in his cot during the day without a huge fuss. Crying to the point of being hysterical. I then have to cuddle him to sleep or put him in his pram.

Nighttime's he usually drops off after his milk and I can get him in to bed without waking him up but If he's not completely asleep he will stand up at the end of the cot screaming. This has been happening for a few weeks now thinking about it.

This is coupled with getting up between 05:00/06:00 since the clock change.

Something has gone wrong somewhere along the line but I'm at a loss as to what I can do.

Please help!!!
