18mo nightmare with sleeping

Hi my daughter is 18 months old and is horrendous at sleeping. I tried controlled crying with her for over 10 days but by the end of it I felt like I was almost dead because she wouldn’t give in. However she then got used to settling down in her cot at bed time and going to sleep. She’d wake in the night and would eventually after me settling and resettling her, come into my bed. But no she doesn’t settle at bed time anymore. She has about 20 minutes nap per day (sometimes she doesn’t have a nap) but I am exhausted! All my time in the evening is spent on settling her. I don’t get to spend any time with my 12yo son and I get no time to unwind either. Please help me 😩😩😩 xxxx

I’ve literally come on here to write a nearly identical post. Ds is 15 months and he goes down at 7, wakes around 9/10 and refuses to go back to sleep unless it is in my bed with me. He also wants to sleep latched on (he breastfeeds) and I’m exhausted. Just wanted to say you aren’t alone.
