Still not sleeping through - 15 months old

Hello 🙃 just wondering if anyone has any advice for me.. so we sleep trained at 7 months & got DS in a nice routine, self soothes for naps and until recently bedtime. We do the usual, bath, bottle, book, bed but and eventually get him to sleep whether it's by laying with him or sometimes he will go off alone. But that's not a problem. He is still waking frequently during the night hysterically crying. We've got ourselves into the habit of just putting him in with us as it is the only way we get sleep & are able to function during the day. I don't know what's waking him and we have tried EVERYTHING. He's had a new duvet and pillow, rusk in the bottle, pick up put down, even rocking to sleep doesn't work anymore 😩 as soon as he's in with us, he's out like a light! Please help me get out of this rut! X

DO NOT PUT RUSK IN THE BOTTLE

it's a huge choking hazard

But sorry, it's not that old to not be sleeping through, nor is it unusual for even a sleep trained child to regress.

Well mine were around 4 when slept through. (AS an adult do you sleep through? I don,t I just know haw to settle myself back down.) TRy the no cr sleep solution. (one for todddlers and there is one for babies.) It has some good tips and is very reassuring but it is no magic wand.

More food can work but not a rusk ina bottle. Trya savory pouch of baby food like beef stew or chicken dinner then the milk
Plenty of fresh air during the day and strategically planned naps.
Put him in a double bed and you get in with him when he wakes up and then sneak off back to your bed. Is he warm enough? Would bribery work?
Mines 3, his cot bed is next to my bed and some nights he sleeps through some he doesn’t

Why are you putting rusk in a bottle? How bloody dangerous!

I think that pick up put down is more for younger babies. At 15m you'd have to go for something more like controlled crying imo, if you wanted to sleep train. He might be so upset because he's awake, iyswim!

My daughter is the same age and sleeps with me in bed. Only way we all sleep. But actually I love it. We have a toddler who sleeps well in his own bed. They are all so different we just do what we can to all sleep!

My 21 month old slept through the night last night for the third time in her life. I am under no illusions that she will do it again tonight. Most nights she’s awake by 2am and the only way to get her back to sleep is to lie next to her...
He will do it when he’s ready.
