5 year old waking up at night and refusing sleep

I’m at the end of my rope so really hope someone can help.
My daughter is waking at night then refusing to go back to sleep, she woke at 4 this morning and still awake now, she screams and cries and there’s nothing we can do to calm her or get her back to sleep. When we ask her why she doesn’t sleep she says she’s bored. She’s tired before school even starts, I just don’t know what to do.
Getting to sleep isn’t a problem, she has stories and bed at 7 then off to sleep with no issue but staying asleep is where we are stuck.
I feel like we can’t do anything and I’m breaking I’m so tired. Does anyone have any advice?
