Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this or has any suggestions that we haven't tried. Our baby is 7 and a half months and has always been a fairly rubbish napper. He was only napping for 30 minutes at a time and waking screaming as he was clearly still tired but was unable to connect his sleep cycles. This is strange given he does it at nighttime and gets himself to sleep for naps and bedtime. It's now got even worse and some naps are only 20 mins. We have tried putting him down earlier in case he is overtired, putting him down later in case he isn't tired enough, tried sticking to certain timings in case routine helped but nothing works. We have done all of the things suggested on google (dark room, white noise, disturbing him just before he wakes, leaving him in his cot after he wakes etc etc etc). He is at the age where I was hoping we could move to 2 naps but as they are so short we seem to be having to do 4 some days. It's crazy! He is good at night (thankfully) so it's just a day time so issue. I wouldn't mind if he didn't need to sleep but he so clearly does. Any help Hugely appreciated.
