Sorry! It is completely normal. Reflux can affect babies more in the evening. And I found my children more windy in the evening! At 3 weeks, I wouldn't be expecting much more! Brew

Yup sorry, no advice. Mine were both like this and ill expect the third to be the same. Well the second was just like that most of the day actually. I tried everything but nothing really worked. Colin drops for their bottles seemed to help a bit, but not that much really.

My baby was like this! I believe it was colic. She used to be so gassy and literally cry and I mean have a full on meltdown around the same time every night! They grow out of it and if it's not colic they apparently have fussy evenings when young it won't last forever! If you do think it's colic we found changing to colic bottles and milk helpful and for bad evenings we gave her some dentinox which is great stuff!

It's horrible and it feels like it will never end, but as PPs have said they do grow out of it. Have a look at purple crying too - as well as colic and overtiredness, it can just be a normal (yet awful to live through) part of development. I found it easier to power through once I decided DS wasn't actually deeply distressed from 4:30pm every single evening.

My baby is 5weeks and is always fussy, any help on how to calm him? I give gas drops because I thought it was gas, it helps a little but not much. He even wakes out of sleep to fuss... ADVICE PLZZZZ

Wwiv.

How long are you burping him for. You might need to keep him upright for 20+ minutes
