Omg this has hit us like a tonne of bricks! I cannot compare with my eldest because he's permanently been in a Sleep regression (🙈) but does it get better or am I now stuck with a second horrific sleeper?
I take him upstairs at 6:45 and he has always got off down... but now he'll wake every 15 mins until about 9... last night was horrendous and he did this until midnight and then up hourly!
I'm a single parent now and I'm struggling with this as I feel like I dint get a minutes to myself.
I keep hearing horror stories of baby's sleep never improving after the sleep regression... is this true or is there hope :(

It was fucking awful for us.

We sleep trained or I would have totally broken down.

Within days all was good again.

(I'm awake now because she's ill, normally 6.15 is still sleepy time in our house!)

The four month sleep regression was awful for us too. If it helps DS1 is 18 months old now and a brilliant sleeper ever since. Loves his sleep in fact but that regression was so bad.

We started using white noise, a security blanket/comforter and sleeping bag around that time and he was able to get himself to sleep with those once he got used to it. I’d say it last 2-3 weeks and no sleep issues since 🤞🏻

It's just horrendous isn't it?! I do remember it being really bad with DS1... but as I said he's permanently in a sleep regression 😂

I've just been using his mobile which has a little time on it but maybe I should get Ewan out again and the white noise? We're only a week in but it feels like the easy out downs never happened 🙈

Erghh it really is awful!! We also sleep trained at 6.5months and he's slept 7pm-4/5am when he's up for the day ever since!! Hope it passes for you soon 🙏 xx
