18mo early waking

Hello

Can anyone suggest what worked best with their little one who started waking early.

My 18mo has been waking between 4/5 every morning. Cries in her cot with a mixture of talking. She is then really grouchy until she passes out about 11.

Her room is blacked out; we have white noise machine, she's warm in sleep bag.

Have tried various bed times between 6 & 7:30 but always wakes early.

If we go in to her and say 'it's still nighttime' she will lay back down and appear to be asleep but as soon as we leave start it all again.

This has been going on since the clocks went back and yesterday the tiredness and the lengthiness of my days pushed me over the edge she winged all morning and I just cried all morning. Lockdown isn't helping matters but I'm working from home all day so can't catch on sleep when she naps so am literally at my wits end .

Hi I've been up since 4:30 with my 20 month old! She's been like it for the last couple of days but I'm pretty sure it's down to her cutting her back molar teeth. I'm just going with it for now and she's having an extra nap around 9:30am to catch up. Hopefully it's the same for your little one and normal sleep will resume soon.

Similar issue here. Have read every sleep guide out there on early waking, but would really like to hear some advice from anyone who has actually solved it in their child!

This has been going on since the clocks went back

As well as being lighter, it has been significantly hotter (in the UK) since the end of Match when clocks changed. She could be over heating.

Was she sleeping well before March?

How does she go to sleep at bedtime and naptime?

What's her usual daytime sleep routine like?
