My mum is pressuring me to drop one of my 9 month old day time naps.😭
She wakes approx 8am first nap around 11.20am for 1 to 1.5hours. 2nd nap around 3 or 330 for 1 to 5hours. Bed at 9ish.
She doesn't sleep through the night wakes for dummy and can be a bit restless and sometimes takes a drink of water hasn't taken bottle milk in months at night. I feel its too soon to drop a nap even though this past few days she has started playing in her cot before naps even though she's tired. Her brekkie is within 30 mins of waking and has 6oz bottle. Dinner at 1 and 6 oz bottle. Tea at 6 and 7oz bottle before bed. She has snacks and water between feeds. Is very active and crawling.
Also the last few days & nights have become a struggle to get naps and sleep at night..she started crawling a week ago and would rather move around the cot than lie down, how do i deal with this ?
Any suggestions.? Is it too soon to try and drop a nap? Is it too soon to take away her dummy? Also she is in our room as we have no place else for her

I wouldn't drop a nap but would make the first nap a bit shorter.
So maybe up at 8am, nap 11-11.45 (or even 10.30-11.15), nap 2.30-4, and then an earlier bedtime 8/8.30.
