Hello everyone, im hoping someone maybe able to help.
Our 2.5 yr old has always been one to wake through the night as most do. Generally some water and lay her down and she goes back to sleep, until recently.
We welcomed our 2nd daughter in July. After the first night we were amazed DD1 started sleeping right throught the night. Shes always gone to bed without a fuss and rarely needed settling at all.
About 5 weeks ago we took her dummy ( well the dummy fairy did) she was fine after 1 night asked a few times for the following days but then nothing.
For the past 4 weeks we have had to sit with her to go to sleep of we move out of the room and shes not fully asleep she will scream. After she is asleep she stays asleep for 2 maybe 2.5 hrs then wakes shouting screaming if her dad goes in she will tell him to get out go and get mummy. When i go in the only thing she says is yes...any question its yes no idea of shes awake or not she does seem awake though. Anyway once were at the point if we leave her she will scream and scream not whinging but really scared screaming and sweating. i have tried to settle her but there is nothing i can do she ends up in our bed or a brought her down stairs a couple of times but like last night she came downstairs and tells me its wakey time, she will babble from one thing to the next birthdays, nursery, shes going in the garden, she wants her coat on, she wants her shoe its all a jumble and goes on an on until we take her to bed when we go....then she will settle (most of the time) sometimes we still have want to go downstairs, want this want that?? Anyone else have this? I have no idea what to do leave her screaming, comfort, will.it pass. Seems to just be getting worst. I must also point out will not nap during the day. Thank you for reading the ramble. Any ideas please x
