What age did your LO's go into their own room?

My LO is 4 weeks old and only wakes once during the night for a feed - however, if she is awake when I put her down or if she wakes up (but not for a feed), she shuffles and snuffles so much, I am wide awake - long after she has gone back to sleep on her own!

I am pretty sure in her own room, I would only respond to the -feed me- cries and sleep better than I do atm - but she is so little, and am aware of the -six month rule-.

What age was your LO when you put them in their own room?

Also, is it worth putting her in her room but still in moses basket rather than in her cot?

TIA

We put dd in her room after a week! she was such a noisy wriggler that we weren't getting any sleep ourselves.
But it was next door and only a few steps away from our bed!

Still in her moses basket, but placed in her cot bed rather than on the stand.
Not because we thought she would come off the stand, more to get her used to the cotbed/bars!

our son went into his room at 3 weeks, mainly because we didnt want him to become reliant on us being near to him.

2 months, slept through the night from then on.

I wouldn't use a moses basket in a room on their own, dont know why, i'd just see the transition into own room as a good time for own cot as well..

We put ds in his own cot , swaddles, within a couple of DAYS. I know thre are guidelines, that suggest a number of months. But you have never heard such a grunty, snuffly, noisy, snoring baby. I looked at dh and he looked at me. And we did it. Ds was totally fine. My ears were tuned, I never even needed a baby monitor. I heard within 2 snuffles, was in there like a shot and breastfeeding. It was fine , for us.

DS is still in with us at 8.5 months, but we co-sleep most of the time.
