Hi,
My 10 month old little girl sleeps at 8pm and wakes up at 7:30am. However, between 8pm and 12am she wakes up around 4 times and the remaining of the night around 3-4 times. When she wakes up she cries and after bf she falls asleep. She only has one 1 hour and a half nap during the day. Not sure what to do.
Thanks

My 11 month old is the same! Only she goes to sleep later - around 10pm and wakes later at around 8am. I never know if she naps too much / not enough! She probably has about 2.5hrs nap per day over 2 naps.

oh dear how often does she wake up? Yes i think 2.5 hours is the ideal nap total. I'm not sure why my little one only sleeps 1.5? But not sure why she wakes up so much in the night! Like she can't be that hungry? Not sure what to do about it.

@safiyahxan I have a 10mo DD. We had this - she had gotten into the habit of waking up every couple of hours. I knew she could sleep through because when my in-laws looked after her for three nights back in April, she slept through every single night (of course!).
A few weeks ago I decided to wait a couple of minutes before going in and rigged up the video monitor (I hadn't bothered with it before because our house isn't so big that you couldn't hear her!). I could see that she wasn't hurt or upset - she was fine really, and went back to sleep quickly.
It's not for everyone, but perhaps giving it a few minutes before you go in will help her to learn to settle.
When our older DD was a baby, we spent hours in her room every night trying to creep out without waking her up. This time I've had to be a lot more firm about letting DD2 get used to going to sleep without me in the room and it's worked. Surprisingly quickly. It took 3 nights for her to learn to sleep through (or at least settle herself back to sleep without crying).

We are in the same boat. 10 month old DS. Goes to bed great at 7 and gets up at 6:30. Wakes several times crying during the night. Breastfeeding chills him out and sends him back to sleep but obviously don't want to be feeding him throughout the night as he then feeds less in the day and it becomes a cycle! He won't nap for more than 30 mins and will only fit 2 naps into the day. 1 hour total of naps isn't enough for him so after one of them, I feed him to sleep and he sleeps on me, just so he can get in another 30 mins. I'm sorry, no advice, but will be following this thread in case someone has a solution!

My 10mo DD has also recently started this as well - used to sleep through from 10pm to 6am no problems :(
My issue though is that she stands herself up in the cot and I don't feel good about not going in in that situation!

It’s really hard but this is totally normal. Look up the 8-10 month sleep regression.
