How old is your LO and what time do they go to bed and wake up for the day in the morning?
My LO is 8 Months and goes to bed at 6.30pm and wakes at 6.00 - 6.30am which I think is early 😩😴 x

On a good day, my DS (7 and a half months) goes to bed between 7/7.30 although most of the time it’s closer to 7 & normally wakes between 7/7.30 the next day- but on the odd day he will wake early between 6.15 and 7. Doesn’t sleep through though- still wakes once for a BF.

I know 6.30 seems early but if your LO is going to bed at 6.30 then 6.30am is a more than reasonable time, they can only sleep for so long at night and that’s 12 hours. Babies and toddlers also normally have a natural early wake time!

11h overnight sleep would be average, if sleeping through. Anything in the range of 10-12h would be considered "average", so your child is getting the higher end of average.

You cannot expect to get baby to bed early and have her waking late.

You want a later morning? Shift her whole daytime routine later - not just bedtime, move all meals and naps an hour later. Persevere for a few weeks in order to establish a change.

I used to do 8pm bedtime, 7-7.30am wake up.

At 8 months I think that's pretty good sleep!

Mine is almost 2 now and goes to bed at 7 and wakes sometime after 6, usually nearer to 7. It changes though, over Xmas he didn't wake once before 7am, a few months ago we were delighted if it was after 6am. I think any baby/child that's doing a 10 hour + stint overnight is a good sleeper!
