Is she breastfed? Does she wake for a feed? Is she easy to get back to sleep?
My little boy was waking every hour until he was 21months
Then it went to every 2 hours
And now at 2 and a half he wakes every 3 hours and that's only since I have night weaned him!
He's normal just a shit sleeper!

It's awful, you have my sympathy
Do you have much support?

SHe may associate something with going to sleep. Google sleep associations. 1 hour could be his sleep cycle and every tine he goes into his light sleep again, he wakes up.

Hey thank you all... Happy to hear from u such encouraging words... Relatives started talking abt my parenting... So painful...

She gets back to sleep either by nursing patting or rocking... She s exclusively breastfeeded... Refuse to take formula...

I don't take much support from my hubby... Now this week I asked for help and when he tries to console she s crying a lot...
So it's only me who can again put her back to sleep...
I agree to fact that it might be sleep cycle... Why is she going thru it this long.,.
Sleep experts says to shift her bedtime to 7 I don't know how that works...

I almost tried everything overnight diaper; fleece pajamas, room temp to 75, early bedtime around 7:30, more playing so she ll b tired, dinner half an hour before bed so she won't be hungry... Bedtime bath... nothing works...

I even went to extreme to note down her activities like what she eat , how much does she played, what dress she was wearing.. at the end f 20 days if I see that whatever I do she sleeps only an hour..

My 15 month old bf baby was exactly the same at that age. We moved her into a full sized bed in her own room at 13 months and she has been much better since then. I also found making sure she had a small supper (toast usually) just before bed after a larger dinner meant she was full up and slept better. Breast milk digests really quickly so they wake more often than ff babies supposedly, rings true in my experience. We tried doing comfort objects, special song, just cuddling but she chucks toys and blankets away and just pulls at my top to get boob. It's a really difficult stage and I'm sorry your DH isn't being as supportive as he needs to be. Remember that everything is a phase, it won't be like this forever.

Thank you all for suggestion.. I will try sleep miracle...
I don't think this to b phase... Becoz after 4 months they said it's regression phase it ll pass... Then 6 th month said it's solid intro phase it ll pass... 8 th month teething phase it ll pass... At end the phase which started at 4 th month hits me so hard till now...

Worth getting help as she may have a sleep debt which means she is so over tired she can't sleep. It's possible she should be going to sleep as early as 5.30/ 6pm. Also if she's only napping for an hour at a time a third nap might work..... obviously not too late in the day. I got help from Bonnuit baby..... Hadley Seward a sleep consultant online. Got a good website with lots of free info. Including suggested schedules for different ages. She sorted my life out totally. Best £200 I ever spent. Totally understand it's a lot and might not be possible for you but worth a look at website. She also does 30 min consultations too. Good luck. Sleep deprivation is just terrible. Xx
