I was out with my cousin and our DC today. We decided to take a short train journey at the request of one of the DC to buy pumpkins to decorate.
As DS is in pram I had to take the lift up and down to the platform. On our return journey I got out the lift and the train home (only 1 stop) was arriving at the platform.
For some reason I got it in to my head that we were on the wrong platform. My cousin insisted we weren’t & a man even backed her up saying we were on the right side.
I had a bit of a freak out and insisted that we were on the wrong side refusing to get on the train. I’ve used this station my whole life & was convinced we were about to get on the wrong train.
The train left and it dawned on me that we were on the right side. No big deal we had to wait another 7 mins for the next one.
I’ve never felt so disorientated ever.
It’s worried me slightly that I would make this error in judgement but to be so convinced about it!
I can only put it down to 5 months of sleep deprivation.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
