Whilst waiting for DD to fall asleep I was pondering how I go through the five stages of grief when she refuses to nap (despite being v tired)...
Denial - she'll be asleep soon, that wasn't her I just heard coo from the bedroom
Anger - FFS go to sleep! You need a nap, you're shattered!!!
Bargaining - if you sleep well you'll have lots of energy to play with your toys and jumperoo etc.
Depression - FML you aren't going to sleep are you?
Acceptance - (takes baby out of cot and sighs loudly)
