Hi,

DC1s (4) toddler bed has broke so is being replaced with this midsleeper bed (see link below). DC2 (21 months) will be moving into DC1s bedroom when she turns 2 to make way for new arrival DC3. As there is no longer a toddler bed to pass down to her and we are really short on space i have thought of maybe getting DC2 this cabin bed also.

It has the proper steps which will be easier and safer to navigate than ladders, the side comes up above the matress to avoid rolling over.

Interested to know your thoughts? Do you think this would be okay for a 2 year old.

The link says "Not recommended for children under 6 years of age"

No way is put a 2 year old in a mid or high sleeper mine would occassionally roll out of bed easily until 4 or 5 years old. I wouldn't put a 4 year old in there either.

I know the top bunk of bunk beds is not recommended until Aged 6. We put my two boys into bunks when they were aged 5 and 9. There was no arguments over who got the top bunk, we made sure DS5 understood he was too young for the top bunk.

No. That half awake half asleep time would be dangerous with a bed that high.

No way as there isn't much of the bed that comes up at the side of the mattress and that's a long way to fall
