For anyone in the same boat..... I have been procrastinating about stopping bf overnight. This night of sleeping through spurred me on. So last night I decided no night feeds, I would feed at wake up time, normally 5am

He woke at 3.30, pretty usual. Brought him into bed but instead of laying down and bf which can either be constant or on and off for up to 2 hrs, I sat and cuddled. Struggled to put him down without asking but did eventually and he woke at 6, bf and dozed til 6.45!!!

Very pleased and hoping for the same tonight. Oh and about a minute altogether of moany crying.

So....third night woke at 12, and came into bed. Managed to settle laying down after a few false starts. It's seems built in that he rolls towards me with his mouth open and complains when book is not forthcoming. But, he settled, and woke at 5 when I fed and dozed til nearly 6. Last night we stayed at my parents. Slept through til 4.50am, quick feed and cuddle but then up from 5.15. Which I'm fine with after a full nights sleep! Fx it continues.
