Wake to sleep

Is there an age limit to this? My DD is 26mths old and wakes any time between 5 and 6.30am every day. It's slowly killing me especially as I have a lupus which itself makes you exhausted all the time.

I don't think there is an age limit.

Wouldn't it be easier to do the wake/sleep-reset at the other end of the night? A 10.30pm wake, nappy change (to ensure properly awake), feed, resettle worked for me. That's assuming no other night wakes though.

My lb would probably be fine with that but then I don't think he'd settle himself bk to sleep....I'd have to cuddle and hold him to get him back to sleep then put down asleep...what do you think. Saying that I won't no until I try I'm just dreading it ha.

If your LO I'd difficult to settle to sleep then I wouldn't recommend anything that involves wak8ng them up.

Better focusing your attention on helping them fall asleep in their cot, so that they can more easily do this themselves when waking.

I've seen you mention this a few times fate and may consider it for ds. His bedtime is very easy now, he has bath pj, two stories, then goes in his cot with his milk and lightshow on. Drinks milk, falls asleep. So may work for him. I also want to stop bf at night time wake ups so a bit of extra milk might help. And we have been having leaky nappies so a nappy change would help too.
