Own room.now waking to get up at 4am

Baby 8month been in own room a week now , and wakes- wide awake to get up at 4am every morning. Iv tried putting him down in his cot it's useless, I end up bringing him in bed with us....if he still doesn't settle I give him a bottle then take him bk to bed where He'l sleep till 6-30/7.
Is there anything I can try to get him to sleep later?

Is he waking for hunger? You could try a dreamfeed when you go to bed.
