Will this nap just get naturally longer?

Hi all, I've posted before about struggling with my dd's shifting nap schedule!
We tried dropping from two naps to one nap a few weeks ago, and it was a bloody disaster!
But the last few days she's been really fighting one, if not both of her usual naps (one around 9:30am-10:30am, and then 2pm-3:30pm). This morning, I attempted to put her down at 9:30 as normal, but after 25 mins, she still wasn't having any of it! Was wide awake, bouncing and chatting in her cot Hmm
So I gave her an early lunch at 11:30, put her down at 12pm, and she was out like a light.....until 1:30pm. Which is what happened last time we tried to drop to one nap, and come 4:30pm, she was a tired, grumpy gremlin again, but it was way too late for her to have another nap.
If I keep going with putting her down at 12 for a few days, should this nap just naturally gets bit longer as she adjusts to the fact she's only getting that one nap in the day? 1.5hrs is clearly not long enough for her judging by the eye-rubbing, tantrums and yawning that comes along late afternoon!

How old is she? My one year old is doing exactly the same thing but I'm still persevering with the first morning nap. If she doesn't take it, fine, I just have to adjust the day a bit. Which is a PITA but I think she still does need two naps. Occasionally I have stuff on in the morning so she doesn't get her first nap anyway but usually I try for two.

This happened with DD1 at 12 months. Her nap did get longer but not until she was about 16 months old! Then she started having 2 hours.
Just about to go through it all again with 12 month old DD2!
Oh and I pushed the one nap back to 1pm which helped:

There is always a transition period where they are grumpy and tired until their bodies get used to it. You just need to ride it out. Persevere with one nap and just put her to bed earlier in the evening. For my boys around nap transition times (two to one and also one to no nap) they were often in bed asleep for the night by 6/6.30pm. Eventually it'll settle into their new routine. You just need to get through the late afternoon grumps for a few weeks.

And yes if push the one nap back to after lunch so 12.30/1 if you can. So say lunch at 12 then nap after.

She 14 months, 15 months next week!
I'm already going to have to make bedtime earlier. She usually doesn't have a bath until 7pm, and bed at 7:30pm. So I reckon I'll have to do bath at 6:30, bed at 7 - or possibly even earlier! I just don't want to make bedtime too early, and then she'll wake earlier in the morning and then nap time will need to be earlier again tomorrow!!
Toddlers are such bizarre little creatures when it comes to sleep aren't they?!
