Hi all, I've posted before about struggling with my dd's shifting nap schedule!
We tried dropping from two naps to one nap a few weeks ago, and it was a bloody disaster!
But the last few days she's been really fighting one, if not both of her usual naps (one around 9:30am-10:30am, and then 2pm-3:30pm). This morning, I attempted to put her down at 9:30 as normal, but after 25 mins, she still wasn't having any of it! Was wide awake, bouncing and chatting in her cot
So I gave her an early lunch at 11:30, put her down at 12pm, and she was out like a light.....until 1:30pm. Which is what happened last time we tried to drop to one nap, and come 4:30pm, she was a tired, grumpy gremlin again, but it was way too late for her to have another nap.
If I keep going with putting her down at 12 for a few days, should this nap just naturally gets bit longer as she adjusts to the fact she's only getting that one nap in the day? 1.5hrs is clearly not long enough for her judging by the eye-rubbing, tantrums and yawning that comes along late afternoon!

Will this nap just get naturally longer?
