Just after some advice from you mummy's (and daddies)
My little boy is 10 months old and he's very good with his strict bedtime routine no problems there. And I've done controlled crying with him which he responded to very positively (one night...only up to 5 mins!! ) my question is sometimes when I put him down in his cot he perks up and chats and babbles away to himself, he doesn't get stressed/cry/whinge but equally he doesn't go to sleep! Should I go into his room and settle him back down with 1 minute intervals like I did when he was crying or leave him to self soothe/or get upset? Thanks in advance Smile

If my child tolerated being left like that without crying (I refuse to do cc) then I'd just leave him to it.

Leave him, he's winding down.

Leave him to it. It is normal to wind down a bit before sleep. I used to listed to mine singing baa baa black sheep over the baby monitor. All is well.
