Just that really.

Been trying to get my 7mo to sleep for 2.5 hours now and feel like screaming at her.

Any one else have times when they wish they'd never had children so they could have their evenings and sleep back?

Yes! What I wouldn't give for 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep...

I still can't let my mother in law anyone take her out of my sight.. Wink

Oh god this hell!! My nearly 7mo was awful for almost three months. We were up to 5 hours trying to settle at its worst as he was turning 6 months. Gentle sleep training was a bust so resorted to my own watered down version of controlled crying. You have my every sympathy I was found wailing on more than one occasion. No controlling that!

Yup! Many times, given that I'm now on my eighth month of shit sleep. I was expecting a few months of sleepless nights. I did NOT sign up for this. People say 'oh it'll pass' but it feels fucking endless.

But then she smiles at me in the morning and melts my weary heart...

Thank goodness for this. Makes my day every time, and makes it all worth while.

I'd settle for 5 or 6 at the moment! Had 4 in one go last night, felt almost human this morning Grin

Flowers and Chocolate all round

My 16 month old has just been referred to the paediatrician as he has never slept more than 2 hours in a row...

He also doesn't eat anything. Otherwise his development is normal and he's happy, starting to use real words, run, jump etc. It's just the basics!

Wow, that sounds tough, you have my sympathy.

2 hours to settle tonight. Keep thinking about trying cc or cio but can't quite bring myself to yet, can't stand her being upset when I know she doesn't have to be.

Yup. Been there. And 7 months is still in the thick of it. It does get better!
