We are just getting the last bits together for a transition into a junior bed (ikea extendible bed). He will be three in two weeks and has been in a standard sized cot, not cot bed, so for us it's definitely time.

The day after they climbed out of the cot. 25 mths for DS1 and 19 mths for DS2.
But they were toddler beds, not singles.

Toddler bed around 2 was still in Gro bag.

Just after had duvet and pillow

Dd was just 2 and ds was 2 and a half. Both into single beds with a duvet.

They had pillows in the cot before that though (age 1)

We left it relatively late and changed DS into his toddler bed with duvet and pillow just after his 3rd birthday. We left it as late as possible as he was sleeping so well in his cot.
