He has got things going on e.g teething and ear infection, but it seems like he ALWAYS has something to stop him sleeping..... Am I the only one with a toddler who sleeps like a newborn still?! Makes me feel like a crap Mum!

No you're not a crap mum at all. Lots of toddlers do that I know anyway.
My dd sometimes sleeps through but sometimes she wakes night before last she woke up at 11 for half hour and then again at 1.30 :( its bit too bad if she'll come into bed with us but of she wants to stay in her own room it can take an hour to get her back to sleep.

Last 2 nights my 24m dd was getting out of bed and crying for us for over an hour.

Kept putting her back, changed nappy, got water, putting her back again.

God knows what got into her but dh and I are knackered today and at work.

He is 16mo and woke four times last night either continually whimpering or just shouting 'Mummy'. Settling quite quickly but still annoying he is doing it so many times. He doesn't come into our bed, have milk or even get picked up. He just doesn't like to settle until he has seen me! It won't last forever, it won't last forever.......

My DGD is 20 months and has never slept through! She's the same whether she's at her house or sleeping over at mine. I'm sure she'll grow out of it one day - in the meantime we're making the most of the early hours snuggles.

He has slept through probably about three times, so it's not that he can't do it more that he won't! Oh well, I will keep giving him the reassurance he obviously needs right now and keep reminding myself he hopefully won't be doing it when he is 5!
