We have had really shocking sleep for over a month with my 7mo. Some friends have said their babies slept better when moved into their own room. Do you find this is true? Ours still with me as I can't face going back and forth so much. Some also think a strict daytime routine helps with nighttime sleep- have you found that or not? Thanks. Am exhausted. Don't want to do crying methods though.
It definitely helped DD. She was disturbed by us by about 6 months. She stirred when we came to bed, she stirred when we rolled over in bed! I had a comfy chair in her room so if she did wake at night I could go in and feed her (was still BF) without really waking up myself.
Day time routine helped as well. I realised around that time that I missed her morning nap cues, she actually napped well from about 9 so I had to be organised enough to get her down. Then she napped better in the afternoon and went to bed better too.
