My 13 weeks old has been fairly consistent with feeding and sleeping since birth however things are starting to change. I have used Gina Ford as guidance and it seems to have worked well for little boy.
He will have bedtime bottle between 7-8pm and straight to bed in own cot
He is on hungry baby milk at this feed.
I then ditched the dreamfeed/late feed as he was barely taking anything and he was sleeping till 5.30-6am for a few nights it was even 7am (happy days)
The past few nights however he begins to get restless from 3am onwards, thrashing his head side to side and throwing his legs in the air. I can hear him very clearly and he will wake himself up and let out a cry. I settle him with a dummy and Ewan the sheep and that's lasts 30mins - 1 hour and then im up again with the same problem.
Last night I gave up and fed up him 3ozs at 5am and put him in with me until 8am. The food and mammy snuggles seemed to settle him.
Do you think he is getting bit peckish at 3am and I should just feed him as he is getting bigger and not on solids yet??? Should I reintroduce dreamfeed? Should I increase his hungry baby milk throughout the day? Should I consider weaning early????? Or could this be the start of teeth/permanent sleep problems.
Any advice would be much appreciated
