Just wanted a bit of advice, slowly reaching the end of my tether! I have a 22 month old and a baby due in 6 weeks. My toddler has always been a good sleeper with occasional regression which resolves by itself or with a little bit of sleep training (CIO). But this last week is a distaster. She suddenly needs me to sit with her to go to sleep in the eve which often takes up to 45 mins and she is waking up 1-2 times a night and needs me to go in and resettle her. Because of baby kicking and pregnancy related restless legs I can't always get back to sleep. I haven't slept for a week now and still trying to work part-time, look after house, cook dinner etc, it is killing me. Hubby works long hours so can't help that much. I have tried CIO but she is getting too worked up and it is hard as hubby is not pro CIO. She has suddenly got a bad cold so need to wait before doing any sleep training but once she is better I want to sort things out before baby comes along. She is also struggling to have day naps in her cot. She is fine at nursery and in her buggy. Also hubby and I are at each other's throats from exhaustion. Advice please!
